 We
are part of a new program in the State of Illinois called
the Supportive Living Program. This program is designed to
promote independence, dignity, respect and well-being for
residents in a cost-effective manner.
Depending on an individual's financial and health status,
Medicaid will reimburse Asbury Retirement Communities for
a qualifying resident's cost of service in the Supportive
Living Facility (SLF). All residents have the security and
peace of mind that they will never have to move out due to
depletion of savings. Residents of this program participate
in their personal service plan, they control their own lives.
We will be happy to speak with you and help you determine
if you qualify under the Medical Assistance Program. Apartments
are also available to private-pay residents.
- Applicant must be sixty-five years of age or older
- Applicant must be screened by the Department on Aging
or their representative
- Applicant must be without a primary or secondary diagnosis
of developmental disability (due to mental retardation
or a related condition) or chronic mental illness
- An individual's annual income cannot exceed $29,222
and assets cannot exceed $2,000
- Allowable income for a couple cannot exceed $55,112
and assets cannot exceed $3,000
Resident receives $90.00 monthly to be used for personal
expenses. All other income will be applied towards rent and
medical services.
